Worship Ministry
If you would like to serve in worship, there are many opportunities to get involved. Whether you love to sing, are a gifted musician, want to serve God through drama, or want to help on the technical side of the services, we would love to get you plugged in.
Worship Team
The Kingswood worship team leads praise and worship at the 6pm Saturday night and 10:30am Sunday morning services. Voices blend with electric and acoustic guitar, keys, bass, piano, and drums lead our congregation in passionate worship each week.
Choir
Kingswood’s choir sings for the 8am and 9am Sunday services the first and third Sunday of the month from October through the end of April. The choir incorporates a wide variety of hymns, sacred music, and gospel songs. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30pm starting with prayer and fellowship.
Tech Team
The tech team manages the sound board, lights, slides, and video during the services; creates graphics and videos for church ministries and services; and designs and maintains the church website and social media.
Orchestra
Kingswood’s orchestra is comprised of string, wind, and percussion instruments including violin, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba and plays for special seasonal services and events. Rehearsals are scheduled in the weeks leading up to each performance.
Drama
Kingswood’s creativity comes alive in skits and dramas for seasonal services and special events. From light-hearted comedy that helps illustrate a sermon with humor to dramatic pieces that bring the Bible to life, we value the creativity and emotional impact of drama to proclaim the gospel.
Coffee Bar
Kingswood Coffee, our coffee bar located inside The Commons area of the church, serves coffee, snacks, and refreshments before and after all services. This creates a welcoming atmosphere and opportunities for fellowship and deepened relationships. No special training is needed to serve in this area; if you are available on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings to serve, we welcome your assistance.
