At Kingswood, we are passionate about our students and desire to see them grow in their walk with Christ as they develop from pre-teens to young adults.
Wednesday Small Groups
This is our midweek program designed for 6th-12th graders who are committed to growing alongside their peers in their faith. These students show an interest in: learning to read and understand God’s word; learning how the bible applies to their life; holding and encouraging accountability in a small group setting and learning from a small group leader. This program runs weekly throughout the school year on Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at our South Campus location. Wednesday Worship & Fellowship
Our Wednesday Youth Group Program is a wonderful opportunity for all of our students running from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for 6th-12th grades. We gather together for wonderful meals, games, missions, and worship. Throughout the year we may have events or off campus celebrations together. The goal of this program is to create space for fellowship and fun with other believers, opportunities for mission work, and honoring God through worship time with our youth worship band. It is a perfect introductory program to introduce a teen to our Kingswood Youth Family!
Wednesday High School Discipleship
Kingswood Student Ministry offers High School discipleship from 7:30-8:30 on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. This time is designed for student's 9th-12th grade who desire to do a deeper dive into God’s Word. They show an interest in learning the Gospel, experiencing God’s Word alive and active in their lives, and growing together with their peers under the supervision of a discipleship coach/mentor. It is God’s heart that these students are offered the time and attention to ask questions and dive into God’s Word together. Discipleship is the heart of Kingswood Student Ministry. Middle School Sunday School
Our middle school Sunday school class (grades 6-8) meets every Sunday at the 9:00 hour, except the first Sunday of the month. We encourage students to attend church with their families on the first Sunday and participate in Communion.
Core Student Leadership Program
This program is designed for students who have a heart for serving Christ by serving others. At Kingswood church we not only believe students are the next generation of leaders but that they have a current opportunity to impact those in our church and community right now. We offer a place for these students to learn of their spiritual gifts and practice sharing those as a practice to “deploying” them out into the world for Christ. This program is for 8-12th grades. It is designed like a class the students will take to learn their spiritual gifts, healthy boundaries and guidelines, practice doing ministry in different areas, and act as an opportunity for students to put their faith to practice.
